Mid-Summer Quiet Day - The Synod Resources for Prayer group
is sponsoring a Quiet Day on July 24th, 9:30 - 3:30, at the College
of Preachers, on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral. Sara
Little, who some of you may remember from our Women's Retreat in 2000,
will be the facilitator. As Mary Magdalen's feast day is July 22, she
will be the focus for the day. Cost is $55 for the day, lunch included.

Falls Church,

Recycle Old Cell Phones!! Bring your old phones to Church
and put them in the recycle box. We will receive up to $33.00 per phone
(depending on the phones) and we help the environment as well.
Pastor Cox will continue the Monday night Kerygma Bible Study.
Classes will continue on Monday nights 6:30 - 8:30 in the church library,
watch the bulliten for dates. There is a free will offering for pizza
and bottle water. The classes will address the following themes: How
Are We Saved? and Where Is Authority? Next
