Council Meeting Highlights -- March 2004

• Council approved Pastor Cox's recommendation to offer an internship to Gary Nuss, a seminary student at Gettysburg. Gary will serve at Augustana from September 12, 2004, until June 12, 2005.
• Council approved the new members to be welcomed into Augustana at the Easter Vigil: Sonja Kahler, Matthew Larson, Christian Larson, John Isbel, Laura LaRue Gertz, Katy Paulson, Paul Beddoe, Albert Ely and Beatrice Ely.
• Brian Danaher, Brian Shannon and Rebecca Roth, in consultation with Pastor Cox, will review the functions of the audit committee and recommend potential members for this committee.
• Council agreed to recommend to the congregation that Augustana contract with Kfoury Construction Group for the complete accessibility and renovation project of $1,503,730.

The next Council meeting will be held on May 16 at 12:15 pm in the Library.
